Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles as well as her younger sister Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone became interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for eleven years under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles had a great time in the vault and floor exercises at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in the year 2011. Within less than two years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles made headlines by her consistent performance, her exuberant attitude and the level of difficulty that she included in each event--vault bars that were uneven the balance beam, and the ground exercises.
