Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into a family of mixed blood. She's English as well as her father is Nigerian. Her family was lived in a housing estate run by the council located south of London. When she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She was a student of acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the school, she appeared in numerous stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actress with the film Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following that success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. She was Bambi in The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She has performed as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with the drama The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before it was removed from The CW. In February 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After two years as the main character she was a guest in the opening episode of season 3. Madekwe starred as Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 to the year 2016. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They worked together in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her family included her parents Roy and Patty together with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's family, which is all sportsmen, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley was not a walker, but she danced. In the age of two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was captivated by dance at this age. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop and many more. She also won best soloist awards at all major dance contests, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
