April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress, model and singer. She was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. Her most well-known role is as Stacy Barrett, the American television character on Drop Dead Diva and Kandi on Two and a Half Men. She started her career with modeling, and then moved to TV and films. Her first appearance on small screen came as an extra on the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and was followed by appearances on a single episode on other TV shows. In Two and a Half Men, Bowlby was cast as Kandi. Bowlby's portrayal of Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her recognition around the world. In the American Web Series Titans Bowlby played the role of Elastigirl/Rita Farr. In the spin-off of Doom Patrol, she will reprise her role. Bowlby was also seen on TV in movies like Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. Bowlby made her debut on the large screen with All Roads Lead Home, then appeared as a character in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Bowlby went to East Union High School in Manteca the state of California. The school was her first move to California when she was a child. After she studied ballet and French at Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue an acting career. She worked with Ivana Chaubbuck. She got an appearance on a TV production (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) after a few weeks from she had her Hollywood audition. Bowlby played a role in a myriad of TV shows, including CSI in 2004. She also appeared on CSI: NY in 2005, Freddie in 2005 as Sydney and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. More recently Bowlby has played the character of Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 film about a 12-year-old year old girl that loses her mother in a car accident. Bowlby has been cast in the 2008 comedic movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead, with blue eyes. She's single with no children.
