Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - an Canadian and American musician and singer. She has released many studio records. The music of DiFranco is classified as folk and alternative rock but also has influences of hip-hop and jazz. Ani Difranco is widely considered to be a symbol of music that is feminist. In 1990, she was among the first people to launch her own label independently. The parents of DiFranco, Elizabeth (Ross), a previous student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each other while they were both attending.
