Lis Wehl, born August 19, 1961 in the United States she is an author as well as a the former legal expert of Fox News.
She previously served as an associate professor of law in Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has a regular appearance presenter on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Today. The Imus breakfast shows. The Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima she attended West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree in 1983. In 1985, she was awarded her Master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a NPR legal correspondent. She served as the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. She worked as a law professor with tenure at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl worked as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
