Niykee is a song-writer that, in spite of her recent busy schedule, has managed to maintain an ongoing routine. Some of her personal highlights included being chosen by Snoop dogg as his sidekick during the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. She is now a magnet for aspiring producers, she regularly combs through beats that are sent to her and discovers that a lot of them are able to spark song ideas. In just five seconds, I know the quality of a song or not. I then get an idea of an original song, and start writing it right away. I get the words while I'm sitting on my porch, playing my guitar. Usually it takes under 30 minutes. Niykee says that when she grows as a lyricist and musician, her memories of her childhood serve as an inspiration. "Even even if I'm not writing about my life directly it is the loss of my sister and my painful childhood are incorporated in my lyrics," she says. It influences my lyrics and adds more profund significance. I believe this is what makes a difference to succeeding.
