Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo, born on 20th February 2003 was an American actress and singer-songwriter. In the latter half of 2010 she became famous for her role as the lead actress on Disney's TV shows Bizaardvark (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series). Following her signing with Geffen and Interscope Records in 2020, Rodrigo dropped her first single "Drivers License" that set numerous records and became one of the top selling songs in 2021. This pushed her to mainstream fame. The single was followed by "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and her debut solo studio album, Sour (2021), that received both critical and commercial success and earned three Grammy Awards. The Disney+ documentary, Olivia Rodrigo Driving Home 2 U, chronicling her musical process and process of creation with Sour is scheduled to be released in 2022.Rodrigo has achieved two Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles, one Billboard 200 number-one album, and five multi-Platinum-certified albums from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The singer has also been honoured by an American Music Award and seven Billboard Music Awards, as and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time announced her as the 2021 Entertainer of the Year , and Billboard named her Woman of the Year in 2022.
Rodrigo received numerous accolades for her work in music including three Grammy Awards. [111It was reported that Billboard recognized Rodrigo with the Women of the Year award at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. In addition, she has received "Songwriter of the Year" distinctions from Variety in 2021. [113] and at the 2022 ASCAP Awards. [114]
